What is Pickleball?
Pickleball is a fun sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Played both indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified tennis net. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, over a net.

Brief History
Pickleball started in the 1060’s in Seattle, Washington and has steadily grown and is now the fasted growing sport in America. Pickleball England is growing quickly and is aiming to get 25,000 members by 2025.

Pickleball at
Totally Tennis
Basingstoke Pickleball Club is a newly formed club. We started at the end of October. We enjoy learning about the ‘kitchen’ and ‘dinking’ and practising our ‘3rd shot drops’. The best thing about pickleball is watching everyone smiling and having fun.
We play on Saturday afternoons 2pm – 4pm and on Monday evenings 7.30pm – 9.30pm. We charge £6 per session for lots of fun, good humour, and great exercise.

Our Pickleball courts are now available to hire.

Cost of hire (including paddles if required)

10am - 6pm
1 court - £12 per hour
2+ courts - £10 per hour each
​
6pm - 10pm
1 court - £17 per hour
2 + courts - £14 per hour each
​
Pickleballs can be purchased from reception.
​

for your booking.
